As your go to Marion senior photographer, I'm here to help senior photos feel fun and not stressful.

Senior year goes by fast, and your photos should feel natural, comfortable, and true to who you are. Why seniors feel comfortable with me

After more than 20 years as a high school teacher in Eastern Iowa, including Linn-Mar and Prairie, I know what it feels like to be a teenager who's not sure what to do with their hands in front of the camera. I know your school, your community, and the kind of pressure that comes with senior year.

Whether you're a Linn-Mar Lion, a Prairie Hawk, a Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointer, a Mount Vernon Mustang, or anywhere in between I've probably met someone just like you. My sessions are low-pressure, fun, and designed to bring out the version of you that your people already know and love.

You don't have to worry about looking perfect. You just have to show up as yourself. That's why so many seniors from Marion, Linn-Mar, Kennedy, Prairie, Center Point-Urbana, Mt. Vernon and surrounding Eastern Iowa schools choose Nichole Sieck Photography as their go to senior photographer in Eastern Iowa.

Senior year goes fast.

Before you know it, senior year is over, and life looks a little different. These photos become more meaningful with every passing year because they capture exactly who you were during one of life's biggest milestones. My goal is to create images you'll still love years from now, whether they're hanging on your parents' wall, framed in your own home someday, or tucked inside an old yearbook.

What to Expect Before Your Senior Session

From the moment you book your senior session, I'm here to help make planning simple.

You'll receive guidance on choosing outfits, selecting locations, and preparing for your session so you never have to wonder what's next.

Whether you love dressing up, keeping things casual, bringing sports equipment, your car, your instrument, or your dog, we'll build a session that feels completely personal.

My goal is to make your senior session feel less like a photoshoot and more like an evening spent having fun while creating memories you'll always have.

FAQ

When should I book senior photos?

Most seniors book during spring or summer before senior year, but fall sessions are also very popular. Booking early gives you the best choice of dates.

Do you help with posing?

Yes. You do not need to know what to do. I’ll guide you through posing, movement, and natural prompts the entire time.

Can we include sports, hobbies, pets, or special interests?

Absolutely. Senior pictures should feel personal, so we can include meaningful details that help tell your story.

What happens if it rains or the weather doesn't cooperate?

Iowa weather doesn't always cooperate, but don't worry! If we need to reschedule because of rain or severe weather, we'll simply find another date that works for both of us. I always want the best light and the best experience for your session. If you like, we can also always move to my Central City photography studio for your session.

What should I wear for my senior session?

I recommend bringing a mix of outfits so you have variety. Think casual, dressy, something that feels like your everyday style, and anything that shows your personality.

Where do senior sessions take place?

Senior sessions can take place in my studio, Central City, Marion, Cedar Rapids, Anamosa, Iowa City, Cedar Falls, or other Eastern Iowa locations depending on the look you want.

Do parents come to the session?

They absolutely can. Some seniors bring one parent, some two, some don’t. Some seniors bring a friend or significant other. We’ll do whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
