Senior Rep Spotlight: Korah Jo | Mt. Vernon and Iowa Conservatory Class of 2026
If you’ve been around my senior rep shoots or a senior session, you know there are some seniors who light up a space the second they walk in. Korah Jo is one of them.
A member of the Nichole Sieck Photography Senior Rep Team and a proud Mt. Vernon and Iowa Conservatory Class of 2026 senior, Korah brings creativity, leadership, and heart into everything she does—both on and off camera.
Meet Korah Jo
Korah describes herself as ambitious, kind, and creative, and honestly… that sums her up perfectly. She’s deeply involved in theater, dance, choir, marching band, and concert performance, and it shows in the way she carries herself. She’s confident, expressive, and completely in her element when she’s performing or creating.
One of her favorite parts of senior year so far has been conducting and leading people she loves, which says a lot about her natural leadership and passion for the arts.
Life After Graduation
After graduation, Korah plans to pursue a B.F.A. in Musical Theater—and if you’ve seen her perform or step in front of the camera, that goal makes total sense. She has a presence that feels both polished and genuine, and she’s just getting started.
Why She Joined the Senior Rep Team
Korah applied to be part of the Nichole Sieck Photography Senior Rep Team because it felt like a fun, creative opportunity to get involved and meet new people—and that’s exactly what she’s done. From group shoots to her individual senior session, she’s leaned into the experience with enthusiasm and confidence.
Favorite Rep Team Moments
Her favorite rep team shoot so far? Palisades- Kepeler Park. Between the location, the energy of the group, and the creative freedom, it stood out as a moment where everything just clicked.
When asked about her experience working with me, Korah shared:
“It has been a joy to work with you! Every shoot has been so fun.”
And honestly, the feeling is mutual.
Senior Session Style & Locations
For her senior session, Korah chose locations that truly reflected who she is, including the Englert Theatre in Iowa City and spots that felt meaningful and personal. These locations gave her session an elegant, classy, and artistic vibe, which paired perfectly with her style and personality.
Her favorite part of her senior session was toward the end of the shoot, when everything felt relaxed and natural—those moments always lead to the most genuine images.
Outfit Advice for Future Seniors
Korah’s advice for future seniors planning their outfits?
Choose solid colors and pieces that let you shine. When your outfit feels like you, confidence comes naturally—and that always shows in photos.
Would She Recommend the Senior Rep Program?
